Short Term Warrantys

All our used motorcycles come with a three month 3* warranty Three Star – includes the breakdown of certain components under the following headings: engine, manual/automatic gearbox, cooling system, swinging arm unit, clutch, electrical, shaft drive unit, suspension, front telescopic forks, brakes, frame/exhaust system, oil leaks, casings.

Long Term Warrantys

We give an in-house three month engine and gearbox warranty as standard but we also understand that sometimes customers want the reassurance of extra warranty cover or that they’re distance-buyers and would want the ability to have their bike repaired locally. So we’ve teamed up with the excellent WMS Group, the warranty company behind the famous ’Safe & Sound’ car policies, to offer all our retail customers excellent value unlimited mileage parts and labour warranties

Components Covered

Engine Cylinder head, all internal bushes, camshaft and followers, cylinder bores, crankshaft and bearings, cylinder block or barrels, crankcase assembly, cylinder head gasket, push rods, gudgeon pins, connecting rods and bearings, flywheel, oil pump, tappet gear, pistons and rings, timing gears, chains and belts (breakage only), valves and guides, excluding burnt out valves, decarbonising and reseating. Gearboxes Manual and automatic: internal breakdown or any mechanical parts, including torque converter, oil pump, internal oil seals, gears, synchromesh hubs, selector shafts, bearings and bushes, excluding all external linkages and kickstart. Cooling System Water pump, thermostat, excluding hoses, belts and ancillaries. Swinging Arm Unit All bushes and components within the swinging arm unit excluding dampers. Clutch Mechanical breakdown including labour but excluding general wear and tear Electrical Starter motor, alternator/generator, rectifier (to a maximum of £200 per claim including V.A.T. or the limit of the Certificate, (whichever is the lesser) excluding external wires and terminals. Shaft Drive Unit Driveshaft, universal joints, bearings and gears, excluding chains, belts, sprockets and rubber couplings. Suspension Rear suspension units, loss of fluid or pressure or mechanical breakdown of the suspension joint (to a maximum of £150 per claim including V.A.T. or the limit of the Certificate, whichever is the lesser).
